Here’s another Murray Hallam video

This is another video featuring Murray Hallam, he talks about some more imortant elements of Aquaponic gardening. Josh and I are starting a small aquaponics system in our kitchen (no edible fish with ours, we obviously don’t have enough room, we are using goldfish).

An Aquaponics system is really perfect for Desert gardening (Austrailia has pretty much led the way in this) because it uses about 10% of the water used in traditional soil gardening.

About Jennifer

Josh and I are currently living in Albuquerque, NM (try saying that three time fast!) We are liking it a lot. It’s nice to be closer to family, sad to be further from dear friends. But that’s life! We are both working and actually have jobs we can stand (which hasn’t happened for a while, especially not both of us at the same time!). No “little Smiths” yet, but we are trying. Life is, over-all, good and we are extremely blessed of the Lord. We are grateful for all of our blessings, family, and friends. Our family currently consists of: Josh, Jennifer, Gid (cat, age 2), Jesse (cat, age 1), 2 Betta-fish (Princess Fiona, female & Charming, male… they can’t stand each other and are in separate vases next to each other on the fridge), Monstro (the 6” Plecostomus…), 3 Angel Fish (Flora, Fauna, & Merry weather), 4 Dalmatian Mollies (unnamed), 5 Cory Catfish (unnamed), Flotsam and Jetsam (the algae eaters), Larry, Curly, & Moe (the Red-Eyed tetras), 13 Neon Tetras (unnamed), Lady (The Spider Plant), Bob (the Wandering Jew), Jade (the succulent), Darling (species unknown), and Leo (the Aloe Vera). As you can see, we are very blessed and pleasantly crammed into our little Albuquerque apartment. =) View all posts by Jennifer
